SO, you know how sometimes when you start a project thinking it’s going to be a 3 hour deal and it runs into a 2 1/2 week ordeal?? Yep, well. That happened to my front door.
A few Saturday’s ago my husband, Drew, decided that it was time to give our front door a little touch up and one thing led to another, which led to another and more and so on! The reason for this story is that a little while ago when I posted my DIY Fall Flower Pots I had intended to share my Fall Wreath Trio but with the door being under construction… I had to wait!

SO, here it finally is! My Burlap and Chevron Fall Wreath Trio!! (that door sure looks nice and shiny though doesn’t it). Most of this little creation came from the Dollar Store, which is even more cool, right?!
The burlap, wooden dowel, and chevron fabric came from other stores BUT the entire project cost approximately 7$ AND this is how I made it…
Materials:
5 pieces- 2″ wide by 38″ long white burlap (3 pieces to wrap the wreaths, 1 for each rosette)
1 spool 6 yards, sheer ribbon (dollar store)
3- 9″twig wreaths (dollar store)
1 bunch small flower (dollar store)
1- wooden dowel 25″ long
2- 3″ wide by 40″ long pieces of chevron material
floral wire
To make the burlap rosette’s:

1)Fold 1 inch piece of burlap down and place wire through 2)bring the side together forming the center 3)twist and fold the burlap around the center 4)continue wrapping 5)after 3 twists-wrap wire around bottom of rosette 6) continue twisting and wrapping until desired size, to secure wind wire around the base and tie off

Wire wreaths together, wire 2 bunches of flowers then wire rosette’s over the base of the flowers where the wreaths connect.

Wire wreaths onto wooden dowel, tie chervon fabric pieces onto dowel and tie ends in a bow, adding ruffles of burlap if desired
Better late than never getting my Burlap and Chevron Fall Wreath Trio posted for you all to get to see… I hope you LOVE our newly refurbished door too
Love,
Ruthie
